01-08-2009-Sorry to all that actually look forward to videos from me. DavidBauder.com just isn't a high priority to me anymore. Since I'm growing up, doing illegal things isn't exactly on my agenda. I will try to release more videos soon. I have one video that is shot just not edited. It is a great one though! It's all legal too! hah...crazy huh? Anyway, thanks to all my fans for supporting me and watching my videos here and on YouTube. Peace! |

07-04-2008-Today I've FINALLY FINISHED the New Year 2008 Sparkler Bomb video that I've put off for 7 months. The main reason I did so was because I lost a whole cameras worth of footage and it made the video subpar and I didn't want to put forth the effort into finishing it. After some coaxing from friends, and the upcoming of Independence Day, I put forth the effort and finished it. Enjoy! 04-20-2008-Today I've update the main site here with three new videos. One was from the total lunar eclipse we had in February of this year, another was an "experiment" we did with some powder and metal, and another is a fun and crazy video we did at Wes Harmon's birthday party. I will be in the up coming weeks, be updating the Video NetCast and finally releasing the New Years 2008 Sparkler Bomb. Stay tuned and patient please! 01-23-2008-Here in GA, it rarely gets snow and last week we got a full two helpings of it. The second one(Saturday the 19th), I decided to go out and shoot a compilation video. I hope you all enjoy it! It's done to Ray Charles' "Georgia On My Mind", the official state song of Georgia. 10-31-2007-Today I put out my first video actually before the event in which it was made for. I am usually at least a week after the fact. So enjoy the Halloween madness I've made for you all! 07-09-2007-A fan request video is up today. It's entitled "Sparkle Bomb vs. Nalgene". We basically put a 48 count Sparkler Bomb into a Nalgene bottle and let it go. These bottles are supposedly "indestructible". Find out in the video. 07-02-2007-Today I shot and uploaded a video to "satisfy" until the official 4th of July video comes. Please bare with me on this video. I will get it to you as soon as possible. Thanks and enjoy the "Pre-4th of July Sparkler Bomb". 05-25-2007 I never thought I'd go this long without a video. The last video I've done has been the new years video. SORRY!!!! I've been busy, really busy! From head gaskets to church videos to starting up businesses, etc. I've been swamped. Hopefully very soon we'll have a video or two before our big fourth of july video. My friend Wes has recently started a davidbauder.com group on facebook. You can find the link above. We are there discussing the next video. You should join the group so you can have some input. Look for a new video SOON!! 02-17-2007 I have officially put the re-development of DavidBauder.com on hold. I will be still submitting videos, but the main page will remain in it's current state as of right now. Be sure to check out my BLOG to keep up-to-date on myself and DavidBauder.com. 01-05-2007 As promised, an awesome New Year 2007 Sparkler Bomb video! Currently only offered in 640x480 versions. I am working on a new design of this site that will incorporate Flash video but hi-res versions of the videos will be still available in both WMV and MOV format. Enjoy! 12-30-2006 Today is the day that I've been waiting for. A NEW WEB HOST!!! I was fed up with the unreliable Fat Networks and switched to the ever powerful Media Temple . I am VERY pleased so far and hopefully they'll serve DavidBauder.com very well in the future. What you see and download from here on out is from Media Temple's servers, be sure to give them business because they deserve it! Stay tuned for a killer New Year 2007 video! It'll be awesome! 11-07-2006 Wow, just 3 days ago I released a video and now I'm here with another. Mostly over the excitement of the new "substance" we obtained, we just can't help ourselves. This video we actually destroyed something. Yes, a microwave again :-) It was awesome! It was shot with two cameras and turned out amazing. The RODE VideoMic picked up the audio quite well. One of my best purchases in a good while was that VideoMic. Enjoy the video! 11-04-2006 Well, today I posted a new video that I'm limiting my "talk" about. I already know I'm really sitting on the edge of just being plain stupid while posting videos that have illegal activity on a site with my FULL NAME as the domain(yeh, I'm a nutcase). So because of this, I'm not going to say much about the video I put up today entitled "Smokeless Powder vs. PVC". The name alone shows that I don't want to draw too much attention to the subject at hand which is quite obvious but I just don't want to "say" anything about it. I even "bleep" the mention of it on the video. Anyway, enjoy the video nontheless! 09-04-2006 Today is, well, labor day and I just labored a month in attempt to revamp my Video Compression Standards for compressing video into the QuickTime H.264 and Windows Media file formats for my personal satisfaction. I have now concluded that I'll start supplying 640x480 or 854x480(16:9)to you guys as well as the already supplied 466x350 or 622x350(16:9). I have started with the release of these resolutions for the "Fourth of July 2006" video I released not long ago. I'll continue to try to update any other ones that I originally shot with miniDV tapes for you guys. I also want to point out that the low resolution one is compressed for size while the higher resolution is compressed for visual appeal. This basically means that I compressed the crap out of the lower resolution file to look good when not re-scaled on a computer screen and I did the exact opposite with the high resolution file, to look good at full screen on a computer screen. Hopefully I've succeeded. If you would like the bitrates and the way I went about doing it, contact me and I'll supply something. I hope to have a tutorial up here soon since video compression still requires some skill these days. Enjoy the new resolution videos! 08-11-2006 Today I've finally uploaded the Fourth of July 2006 video! It took me a while to do mostly because I've gotten so busy. I had some video projects I had to finish that actually put money into my pocket :-) I still have a wedding to edit and deliver. Anyway, I worked hard on the video and hopefully you all will enjoy it! Remember to subscribe to the podcast, the link is above on this page! It's free! 07-18-2006 Today I have a special letter from me to you, the fans, up on the site as well as a new shot of me. I've been meaning to put a new shot up since I grew my beard back in November of 2005 but I just haven't gotten around to it. Here it is! I also amended the "How To Make a Sparkler Bomb" tutorial, check there to see what I have learned about sparkler bombs. Blah! On another note, I AM in the works for the Fourth of July video. I've just been super busy since then and haven't even gotten around to even capturing the footage. I have two video wedding jobs in the next two months as well as a bridal shower job. I'll get to you guys I promise! Thanks for everything! I say more in the letter below! 06-23-2006 SpudGun Games is now up. Don't forget to tune in after fourth of july for a video special. It'll be crazy! Enjoy the new video! Also available on the PodCast as well as on YouTube.com 06-01-2006 Today I have finally put up a tutorial on how to make a sparkler bomb. It's not a video, but it'll do for now. Hopefully this will lessen the massive amount of emails I have been getting. :-) 05-15-2006-I just got the confirmation back from Apple that my Podcast is approved. I now have a link at the top of this page to subscribe to it. It's the easiest way to keep up-to-date with videos that will be put on this site. If you aren't firmiliar with podcasts, it will check everytime you open iTunes and download any new videos that you don't have. All videos are compatable with the iPod Video. Enjoy! 05-13-2006 Today officially all VCC FILMS related videos are off of my site and now on VCCFILMS.ORG. Make sure you update your favorites for that site and remember all new videos will be posted on that site that are VCC related. ALSO, DavidBauder.com Video Podcast VERY soon to come. Stay tuned for that for people with Video iPods that want to have these videos mobile. 03-27-2006-Wow! Just 6 hours ago I shot this video. It's called "Sparkler Bomb vs. Microwave" and you can see it below. One of the best and most crazy things I've done yet. Hope you enjoy it! 03-24-2006-Just uploaded, Spudgun 2. Read more by clicking below on "Spudgun 2". 03-21-2006-Today I have uploaded a very old video that I've never officially introduced on the main page. You can read more about the story by clicking on "Sparkler Bomb 5" below. I'm also Re-Mastering the rest of my personal collection. 02-25-2006-"Hearts Battle" is now online in 3 different versions including the first iPod version for those of you with iPod Videos. You will find the link below, enjoy! 02-01-2006-Today VCCFILMS.ORG was born. It will be the site for all the video projects that I do for the church(Vineyard Community Church). I am currently at work on designing the page. All the current videos here will stay here but the church related videos will be on VCCFILMS.ORG as well. Bookmark it and check back at a later date as it should be done pretty soon. 12-25-2005-The short film "All of Us" was shown on December 20th and had alot of positive feedback from it. I am very pleased how it turned out and the amount of work that was done on it in such a short time. The time between the start of principle photography and the final burn to DVD was almost exactly two months. I learned alot from making this film that I hope to use in other projects. Thanks to all the Cast and Crew for your hard work and dedication. Thanks to Samuel Cape for an awesome soundtrack that made the movie even better than it was. Above all, thanks be to God for helping us pull through hard times and crazy hours of shooting. The link to the "All of Us" page is below. There you will find the Movie, Bloopers, and the 26 page Script. Enjoy! Merry Christmas to All! 10-14-2005-Today, the 25 page screenplay for "All of Us" was finished. As the "video" special of this years Christmas event at Vineyard Community Church, "All of Us" will be a 25 minute short film with an all original soundtrack by Samuel Cape. Shooting will presume within the following week and will go until mid November. I am taking up directing, producing, editing, and other miscellaneous responsibilities required to complete this to-date, biggest project I've worked on. Pray that it'll be a tool of God and that'll He'll bless everyone who touches the production of "All of Us". If you can't make the first showing, the internet debut of "All of Us" will follow shortly thereafter. 09-10-2005-I shot my first "sport" event today. It was a charity event sponsored by "Golgotha Saints" from Vineyard Community Church in Marietta, GA. Most of the players attend the church and we had a blast. You can see I got a few great catches and slides. All images are taken with a friends(Jesse Wallace)Canon 20D with a 28-135 Canon IS lens. Enjoy! 7-13-2005-I just got finished uploading the "24 Hour Film" files and I think I had the best time this past weekend making a video than I've ever had. I got a chance to hang out with alot of cool people and be VERY productive in the process. We worked hard and had a great outcome considering the time and budget we had. Be sure to watch the film below entitled "Grandpa Was Right About CTRL+Z". Thanks to the WHOLE team for making it happen. Good Times! 7-5-2005-Due to technical difficulties, no video was shot this 4th of July. Sorry! Actually we were just so involved in the festivities that we were too lazy to do so. You get the idea. We did successfully shoot off two sparkler bombs that were great and had a crazy street firework war with some neighbors. All in all it was a great holiday and party. Check back soon for some other additions of the non-pyro type if you know what I mean. Take Care! |
